A Pop of Color

Pink and Leopard. I'm usually not a fan of the combination. It makes me think of tweens, feathers, and rhinestones. Eek! But this is a little more sophisticated way to make it look not so teeny bopper. These pants were also featured here. The shirt is actually a little more neon that it portrays in the picture with a cute zipper on the back.

Yesterday was the launch of Narcisco Rodriguez line at Kohl's. Guess who was there bright and early?! ME. Well, my slight obsession with Kohl's combined with a designer launch... that'a given. I thought it looked great but I only bought two things. Most of the pieces were more for business attire. I unfortunately have a casual work environment and would look a little silly showing up in a fitted ponte sheeth dress. Be sure to check it out and don't forget your coupon!

Election Day

With today being Election Day, I felt the need to dress patriotic. The first outfit is from yesterday. I might be partial to the red, but the jacket does come in blue as well, here. I bought these James jeans this weekend. I was on the hunt for a skinny black jean. I found these high-waist beauties at The Blues Jean Bar in Snider Plaza. I highly recommend this store if you're on the hunt for the perfect pair of jeans. Their denim educated staff will assist you in finding the perfect jean- they take all the hard work out for you! Such a great concept.

Feelin' the Fair Isle

I have a new obsession: Fair Isle Sweaters. Weird, I know. A traditional sweater that gets its name from a tiny island north of Scotland where the technique was first developed. You're used to seeing them in the ski lodge and in cozy winter towns, but this season you're seeing them everywhere from low end to high end. Even though the weather will probably never get cold enough here to justify my purchase, I will still be buying one! Check out the board below with a few options. I love Blair's look and how she paired it with black skinnies and booties. Taking a traditional look, layering it and putting a fun spin on it... Love it!

Fall Floral

Simple outfit of the day. This outfit was hard to photograph, hence there's only one! This outfit can read very "Little House on the Prairie" but I still love it. I notice I tend to rock the braid with this outfit, as seen here. This is also a more "Fall" approach to wearing this skirt versus the picture in the previous link.
